Queen of Hearts
“Nothing brings me more happiness than trying to help the most vulnerable people in society. It is a goal and an essential part of my life—a kind of destiny. Whoever is in distress can call on me. I will come running wherever they are.”
Exploring Generative AI and Quilting
This quilt marks my first foray into combining my love of artificial intelligence with quilting. Inspired by quilt artists like Bisa Butler, Timna Tarr, and Emily Taylor, I have worked to develop a style that pays homage to their talent and is uniquely my own.
I started this project in the winter of 2022 and completed it in early 2023.
Look for my class, “Painting with Fabric: Modern Impressionism for Quilters,” coming in mid 2023.

Several people have asked me why I picked the sheep fabric to use in the background of this portrait. We can look no further than Diana herself. She often wore her “black sheep” sweater to family events, as she felt she was often seen as a black sheep in the royal family.
